This is the Terms of Use of Townmart. In this document, “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to townmart with its domain name tonwmart.uk

Introduction

townmart is an intermediary platform that links “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers” and “Buyers”. townmart doesn’t provide “Buyers” with any service other than searching for local businesses, or searching for products or services provided by “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers”, making and completing the online purchase, or booking services and  paying for “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers”. townmart is not liable for the products or the services that are provided by “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider”.

townmart created a dedicated email “info@townmart” in case the Buyer was not satisfied with the Seller, Vendors and or Service Provider provided service.

Definitions

  • End user Consumer: any individual customer or guest or Buyer that uses townmart websites’ platform. 
  • Website Platform “Our”: is townmart websites, which include any category, sub-category or internal link related to townmart
  • Partner Businesses:  or Seller, or Vendor, or Service Provider is any business owner that owns an eCommerce business account, and or Appointment module on townmart servers and uses it for listing their products or services, promoting and organising their businesses with their consumers complied with townmart terms and conditions.
  • Affiliate: any entity that can be control directly or indirectly, controlled by combined or associated with townmart

What does townmart do

townmart is an intermediary servers’ platform that links “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers” and “Buyer or End user”. townmart would allow “Buyer or End user” to search for local business , search for products or services,  purchase products, book appointments and make online payment whenever it is applicable to products or services that are offered by “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider”. townmart is not liable for the quality, details, price or any other direct or indirect related aspect to the provided  products or services by the “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider”. “Buyer or End user” or “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers” should read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy carefully. Creating a Customer Profile or Business account means that Terms and Condition and Privacy police were read and acknowledged.

The three of Us (townmart, “Buyer or End user” and “ Seller, Vendor or Service Provider”)

townmart is an intermediary platform that allows “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers” to offer their products or services to “Buyers or End users”, allowing them to find products or services, buy products or book services and pay for it. The active “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” is eligible for townmart online payment service.

townmart holds no liability for the level, quality, price or any related aspect to the products that have been sold or the provided services  by “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider”. While our Terms and Conditions cover the activities that are related to finding local business such as local shops or and high street shops , buying products or booking services and online payment processes. The “Buyer or End user” should ensure reading and comply with the “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” Terms and Conditions.

Getting a product or a service

“Buyer ” will benefit from the townmart platform by finding the Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers that are either near her/him or based on other specific search entries. “Buyer or End user” can compare between the “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” services, Prices, rating and other parameters that are of concern and select to buy a product or book an appointment as a specified date and time slot. If the Online payment option is enabled for the “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” and “Buyer or End user” have a valid and genuine payment details, “Buyer or End user” can complete the payment online and get a confirmation on the purchase order or the booking slot details and paid amount that is generated by townmart. In case the Buyer is looking for VAT invoice, she/he should contact the Seller, Vendor and or Service Provider. Both  “Seller, Vendor and or Service Provider” and Buyer have the right to reschedule or cancel the purchase order or the booked appointment which could be free of charge in certain circumstances. Read the cancellation and rescheduling policy.

As a “Buyer or End user” you have the right to report any unsatisfactory provided service by the Seller, Vendor and or Service Provider to the “local customer rights representative offices”.

Enlisting products or services

townmart platform enables “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers” to enlist products and services, share photos related to their shop location, in addition to other information like product or service description, prices, etc. It is important to note that in certain circumstances shown photos or declared products or services could be different from the actual provided services. Whilst townmart is working on enhancing the mirroring between declared and provided products or  services, we would appreciate any concerns related to quality being reported to us to take the corrective actions with the “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider”.

“Buyers or End users” should declare any relevant medical health issues or allergy to the “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” and read the products’ ingredients carefully before consuming the products. While it is not the responsibility of the “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” to check for any allergy with the Buyers or End users, it is their responsibility to warning for any allergy on their account, and  make sure that all listed products are containing a label explains the ingredients with allergic components in bold.  

Cancellation and rescheduling policy

The aim of this cancellation and rescheduling policy is to protect the rights of both “Buyer or End user” & “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider”. While the cancellation of purchase orders and rescheduling of appointments is allowed, the “Buyer or End user” should check the cancellation and rescheduling policy of each “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” as it varies from one to another. Some may select to have a free cancellation policy, while other “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” may choose to charge a percentage or fixed amount as a cancellation fee.

“Buyers or End users” should contact the “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” directly, or through townmart platform for cancellation or rescheduling.

Each “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” has its policy, which is why it is important for “Buyers or End users” to check each “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers” policy to avoid any unclear deal or misunderstanding, which could incur the buyer or end user a possible fees.

The right to suspend accounts

townmart has the right to suspend any “Buyer or End user” or “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” accounts.

“Buyer or End user” account can be suspended in the event that :

  • There are more than five cancellations per month
  • The “Buyer or End user” fails to submit correct personal information related to the account creation
  • The “Buyer or End user” Fails to register a correct payment details or using details that doesn’t match with registration information
  • Improper practice with “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers”
  • Any type of fraud or money laundering

“Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” account to be suspended in the event that:

  • There is a continuance and regular negative feedback from “Buyers or End users”
  • The “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” Fails to submit correct information about the business while creating the “Business account”
  • Any illegal practice
  • The “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” gets a cumulative rating of 2 stars and less.

While the townmart team is trying their best to manage any complaint, it is important to note that townmart is not responsible for improper practice conducted by “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers” and “Buyers” and holds no liability to compensate any party.

Product and service price, and payment process:

townmart platform is not responsible for setting the prices of “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers”. Each “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” has the right to put the price for each product or service and amend it at any time. Payment could be either in cash for or using townmart online payment service.

This depends on the “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” payment terms and policy, and townmart has no input on these matters.

townmart is not responsible for any payment that is made in cash after delivering a purchased order or a service.

The “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” has no right to increase the price after the purchased processes have been completed, but it is up to the “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” to make any discount for cash payments.

townmart does not reimburse “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers” or “Buyers” under any circumstance.

In the event the “Buyer or End user” asks for an invoice that includes the VAT, it is the “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers” responsibility to provide it.

townmart is not responsible for any VAT calculation related to the online sales operations or payment process, it is the “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers” responsibility to calculate, submit needed documents and pay any VAT obligations.

Payment through different currency using townmart online service may subject the payment to a supplemental increase as a result of currency exchange, which is  handled by a third-party payment gateway.

townmart online payment service is provided by a third party, and maintenance completed by our affiliated partner, may impact the service.

Townmart liability:

townmart is not responsible for the delivery of the products or the services, quality of the provided products or services or the manners of “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider” employees.

townmart is not responsible for the collection of any in cash payment on behalf of “Sellers, Vendors and or Service providers”, it is the responsibility of the “Seller, Vendor and or Service provider”.

townmart is not responsible for any accident that may occur, before, during or after providing the service.

Updating terms of use:

townmart has the right to update its terms of use at any time. We will make sure to notify users with any changes and post the date and the version of the updated privacy policy. We also encourage you to regularly visit and look at our terms of use updates.
